Synaya R. Jones is the owner and operator of Peaceful Solutions, LLC. The mission of this organization is to provide mediation and/or training and consulting services to individuals as a means to provide them with strategies to ease conflicting environments and assist them with resolving conflicts peacefully by analyzing the dynamics of conflict, conflict strategy, face-saving and power control. Ms. Jones was previously employed in state government including the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice, S.C. Department of Corrections, S.C. Department of Education, State Board for Technical Education and S.C. Arts Commission. Following her government service, Ms. Jones became employed as a substitute teacher with Lexington School District One. A firm believer in the merits of education, Ms. Jones received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Arts in Human Behavior and Conflict Management from Columbia College and also attended the MBA program at the University of Phoenix - Columbia campus. She received a Certificate in Family Court Mediation from the South Carolina Bar and a Certificate in Juvenile Arbitration from the Lexington County Eleventh Solicitor as well as certificates in Nonviolent Conflict Resolution Training Instruction, Anger Management Instruction and Training for Trainers.

Ms. Jones is an experienced and trained Mediator and Arbitrator. She served as a Mediator for a non-profit organization in the Midlands and Upstate areas for a number of years and has co-mediated court cases with attorneys in Richland, Lexington, Kershaw and Greenville County Magistrate Courts. Since 2008, she has also served as a volunteer arbitrator for both the Lexington and Richland Counties’ respective Juvenile and Youth Arbitration Programs. As part of her duties as a certified Anger Management Instructor, she conducts training for students per mandates from Juvenile Arbitration Programs.

Individual mediation services are available on an as needed basis for family mediation, civil mediation, workplace mediation and community mediation. Ms. Jones is also available to conduct Conflict Resolution Training and Consulting for various civic, corporate, governmental, educational and religious organizations. Ms. Jones has a passion to work with youth and married couples as well as individuals seeking to resolve their conflict peacefully. The birth of Peaceful Solutions, LLC began in 2005 when Ms. Jones used the scripture Matthew 5:9 to pay tribute to her late father. Since that time Peaceful Solutions, LLC has been evolving into fruition.
