Conflict...we can't deal with it, yet we can't live without it!

Conflict is universal...it occurs everywhere, everyday. Even though conflict is everywhere everyday, it's apparent that we cannot deal with it. This is apparent by all of the violence which occurs daily in our communities. It does not matter whether this violence is personal or professional, the fact remains that we as a people are not dealing well with conflict. As a mediator, individuals are encouraged to deal with conflict as soon as possible. As a peacemaker, individuals are encouraged to deal with conflict peacefully. Seek assistance when assistance is needed. Otherwise, individuals may find themselves NOT dealing with conflict until it's too late to do so!
